We have 2 geese with about 30 chickens. They were just fine for a long while. Spring hit and while they mostly just tolerate the chickens, I have caught them grabbing some chickens by the head and dragging them. They also both turned pretty mean this spring (they just turned a year old, male and female). They don't attack me but I sternly talk to them and have a stick in my hand. They have attacked others here though.
However, the female stays near our pen that houses the baby chicks. If I let the chicks have some free time out...she "mothers" them. Though she's not the best mother because she steps all over them with her big feet haha.
