Do Guinea fowl mate for life?

I heard Guinea mate for life? is this true and if so, how many hens can a male have?

In my flocks... they only mate for life if there are no other choices... my Hens are hussies and my males are gigalos, lol. I've seen them switch mates mid season, I have seen Hens soliciting other males and I have seen males breed with every Hen they can

Until recently, I had two hens, a pearl and a charcoal. The cock definitely had a preference, and only hung out with the charcoal when the other was nesting. Now that she's hatched her keets, he hasn't so much as glanced at the charcoal, and he's helping the pearl hen raise the keets. In fact, he may have run the other hen off. He treated her pretty badly when breeding season came, and now I haven't seen her for 3 days. My opinion? They pair off at least for the season. I may never know whether it's for life, because if all the keets are pearls, I'll never be able to tell which is which.

Well I started with 4 hens and 4 boys and each of the boys picked their hen and stayed with her. But about 2 weeks ago a fox or something got one of the hens and her hate just went and took a hen from one of the other boys now because there are 4 boys and only 3 hen the boys fight and change mates.

i think the males can breed with 3 females and i think they breed for life.
