do guineas eat slugs as well as bugs?? please advise me before buying

Mine didn't like slugs. If I tossed one to them, they might peck at it reflexively, but then they'd wipe their beaks off and not eat it. They went wild for Japanese beetles, though.

hollybird, you probably had Khaki Cambell ducks -- tan, really good egg layers, nice temperaments, good slug eaters.

These are available from most hatcheries.
