Do hens use the Egg Song as a warning call too?

My previous flock had two birds and my Production Red did it all the time - when she laid, when the other hen laid, when she was mad, when she was startled, when it was a day ending in Y... you get the idea. My Barred Rock on the other hand hardly ever did the egg song. Maybe a time or two but rarely.
I have two new youngsters this year that are 18 weeks and again, my new Prod Red is much more prone to making this noise when startled. My Columbian Wyandotte is talkative in the “berp berrrrrp” kind of way but not usually a yeller.

Yes. My barred rocks sing occasionally, but my red doesn't any chance she gets. Lol.
