He's been a bit shaky today.

Usually shaky leg means niacin deficient If you can get some Liquid B complex at TSC that will help both 1 ml over something yummy like meal worms of peas. Usually only takes a week to get back on track. But they need the extra niacin till they are 10 weeks old. If feeding chick starter.

I heard brewer's yeast can help and we do have that. Is it true that it helps??

I'd get the liquid B complex the brewers yeast doesn't have a good amount of niacin and once they are showing symptoms the liq b complex just works so much better.

Miss Lydia is right. I had the same thing going on with a few of mine and once I got them on the B-complex I've not had a problem since. It's been months! I put some of their food, plus a few meal worms in a small bowl and sprinkled the B complex over it, mixed it up and added it to their big food bucket. I don't like mixing with water because they waste so much of it but they don't waste the food!

I can walk to Safeway. I usually walk to it whenever I go for walks into town.

look for this you'll need to give them 3 ml a day [not in water it will water it down] get this then when you can get the one at TSC it's a bigger bottle and 1 ml and last a long time kept in the frig. Doesn't have to be this brand just the liquid B complex

Would I be able to give him them that and duck pellets?
I had planned on going to Wilco later to get duck pellets as it's just them now that the chicks are outside.
