Yeah I'm not familiar with the huffing noise to be honest, would that be like a honk? Regardless, oh well for the past 9 months I thought Swan was a boy because of this blob thingy on top of his beak. But at least I named her Swan which is kinda feminine. It's amazing how fate works.

Recommendations regarding the cholesterol in eggs has changed. It's the good kind, not the bad. But, definitely follow whatever dietary restrictions you need to. I just can't eat them because my stomach gets upset. Duck eggs have different proteins and higher concentrations of nutrients. It upsets some people's stomachs - I happen to be one.
My ducks are just pets - they offer some good compost though.

Aww, hopefully you find a way to eat the eggs in a manner where it won't hurt your tummy.
For me, I really don't know why I have abit higher than usual cholesterol level. The only new thing in my diet was duck eggs.
And my weight is 85kg, I'm 6'1 and 24. So people get shocked when they hear I've got that issue recently.

Unfortunately it's more than just stomach issues. I've even passed out after eating them. It's the weirdest thing. But, its "normal" with a sensitivity towards a food.
I thought maybe I could bake with them, but had a similar issue on a smaller scale.

I just gave a friend 2 dozen duck eggs, so it's all good. I also feed them to the chickens and my dogs.

I do my best to avoid picking them up as much as possible as yes, it’s a long sleeve full PPE type of gig - if they must be carried. I get them one arm right across the front of their legs and one arm across their bum (dangerous part) so they can’t slip their wings out and belt you in the face with them. Even feathers with that force leaves a bruise.
