There is always space for more members on the BYC roost! Select one that reaches the closest requirements of what traits Black Copper Marans should posses. I have never owned one with yellow legs but black legs and feathered legs with a white color at the bottom feet. Also don't select one who is aggressive or this trait will pass to the offspring. Hope you enjoy it here as much as we all do!

Both them boys looked to be pure Marans... one better than the other. BUT... I agree that if you are able... keeping both is recommended at least until you have some fresh up and coming offspring. Accidents and predation are just too easy to happen.

Glad to see others who WILL "select" for quality!
