Was wondering if someone could tell me if these legs and feet of my Dorking Roosters look ok? I know the feet and legs tell a lot about the health. Thanks!

Does anyone clip their roosters toe nails? Or is it advisable to leave them long for their protection of themselves or coop in case of an intruder? Thanks for all the praise!

I trim my rooster's toenails and spurs regularly to reduce risk to my hens from his treading. This fall I even popped off his spurs, just got too long.

If you do not mind me asking, how do you go about doing the trimming and pop his spurs? Is it dangerous to them? Painful? Anyone think I need to based on the photos? Thanks
