Do I have toms are hens??? Guessing they are 10-11 weeks old.

I think it is too early to tell, but I would guess a hen first there and then a Tom. One has bigger thicker legs and one has a bigger head too, he also has the bigger legs. Of course, they may not be the same age, but appear to be. Good luck, one of each would be good.

Only the Poults Know what they are and there not telling

I have a Question here. What age is a good age to tell? I am showing BBW and boys are not allowed :( discrimination against the sexes **** it! Seriously though. Can only show Hens and they will only be 12 weeks at show so how am I supposed to know?

Any suggestions

They are the same age. There isn't much information online about Turkeys. I've read around 12 weeks old you should be able to tell if you have a tom or a hen.

I could tell the sexes of my turkeys pretty early on. BBWs and Bourbon Reds. But I also had both genders in both the varieties.

Jezs do you have a close up of each of their faces and what kind of turkey are they?

Also TamTurkey do you have a pic and how old are they currently?

Mine are only 5 weeks old today I will post the question and pictures when they are closer.
