Do I leave hatchlings with broody?

That's what I was wondering if it does make a difference. I have a 1 year old grandaughter and the friendly the chicks the better for us. I want my grandkids to grow up being able to pet them and feel safe around them (with me there of course). I think I'll just take them and put them in the brooder until I can release them back into the flock.

I know this probably won't make a difference with some roosters, I have one that just started attacking and who know how many I'll get out of her hatch.
