Hi BACKYARD CHICKEN LOVERS!!!! Do I need light in the coop for my 5 barred rock to lay eggs? In the morning the sun come up at 7:56 am and sun go down at 5:30pm.

Yes, they need 12-14 hours of light in order to lay well through the winter. Put a light on a timer and have it come on early in the morning. It's best for them to experience natural sunset so they can get inside and get settled on their roosts before full dark.
