Hi There,
I have managed to digest a fair bit of whats been said..
The hens (x2) will be out in a run most of the time and only in the coop at night
Food and water will be available outside the coop but that said its easy enough to have 1 wall of the coop with access to food & water which i think i will build that feature into one of the exterior walls, i will add a sketch of what i have in mind soon as i want to have the coop and run complete with all my electrics etc fully working before any hens are added to the coop..
I have already built in a poop tray drawer which is accessable from outside to remove the poop.
I based my original sizings on the below link and my run will be bigger and my housing is already larger in size. i will be raising the roof by way of adding a dormer window frame type affair.
Ebay Prefab Coop suitable for 4 / 5 large birds
if the above is not suitable for the keeping of chickens should someone contact the makers of the coop?
Your thoughts would be greatly received..
