Do I need to separate my chickens?

My older chicken keeps pecking my younger chicken to the point that you can see her skin.

How big is your coop? It's easy for the older hen to target a single chick when they aren't a lot of chicks to take the bullying. And if your coop isn't big enough the chicks may not have enough space to run away. Do you have a space were just the littles can go?

The older one is 9 weeks. Younger ones 6 weeks. Would be difficult for them to create a space just for the littler ones that the other couldn't get into.
