Do I need to turn the eggs in my hovabator?

I have a sudden work trip, and will be gone for about three days. I have a few roommates who can help me with the animals, but am trying to make it as easy as possible on them (I have about four dozen birds, three sheep, three dogs, a pony...)

I have the hovabator below, with that turning tray thing. I guess it kind of rolls the eggs around. I still go and flip them 180 degrees three times a day. Do I need to have a roommate turn them for me in my absence, or does this moving tray thing do the trick?

Make a mark on two sides of the eggs, and see how well it is turning the eggs. If they are all turning then I'd trust the egg turner.
