Need a permit if I want to start selling fertile eggs from my Polish hens? And where can I go to obtain and register my flock?

Well I live in the city of Houston which I need to know if I need a permit if I want to start selling fertile eggs from my flock of Polish Hens

It depends on who you plan on selling to, stores, restaurants, etc you need to be USDA approved. Just putting a sign out and selling to neighbors, you do not need a permit.

I want to sell hatching eggs to people who would buy and incubate them. Also would I still need to be USDA approved if I'd want to sell hatching eggs to feed stores that will hatch them and sell the chicks?

I would go ahead and get NPIP certified to make sure your eggs are healthy. As for permits, you need to check requirements at the local level. Maybe check your city's website.

State Dept. of Agriculture, state veterinarians office should be able to give you answers specific to your area.
