Do "lap chickens" really exist?

My bresse (3 total) and my tsc mystery boy all are usually cool with being picked up and held at least for a little

Oh yes!! I have a buff Orpington named Twinky and she LOVES to be held and petted!
If I am sitting down, she will come and stand by me until I pick her up, then she settles down and all but falls asleep on my lap! She's so sweet!
She get jealous when I hold other hens, and tries to peck them, she does that little suspicious walk- fake pecking at the ground that roosters do and edges her way closer so she can get to them. The she chases them away when I put them down.
After that, she comes to me to be cuddled
Twinky is my little lap chicken!!

Yeah my 4 month old chicken, Hazel, will always run to me whenever she sees me and continue pecking my pants until I sit down and let her sit on my lap

Oh my gosh, of course lap chickens exist! All of my little chickens love jumping up to get loves even the fiesty roos.

Yes, the Olive Egger hen in my profile photo "Pearl" is very shy but whenever I sit or hunker down in the run she hops on my lap for a cuddle. Her sister "Edna" is much less shy and will actually peck my leg to get my attention so I will pick her up and cuddle her.

These are my easter eggers that love to be pet. They jump up on my lap for cuddles. Sometimes they fly up on my shoulders but I think they're getting too big for that.

I like to sit in the run with my ladies and a couple of them fly-jump in my lap to roost on my shoulders they nudge my hair around and nestle in it for a nice nap.
