Do muskovies like to swim?

I've heard that (some) Muscovies prefer land over water. Not as water obsessed as Mallards.

Hey, at least the water will stay cleaner longer!

If you just built it give them some time to get used to it.Ducks are weary about everything.The older ducks might be chasing them out might want to watch them.

Here's a picture of their pool. I have bricks inside for steps and they do know how to get out.

My 2 girls are not water crazy. They got in their pool for short periods of time each day. Maybe 15 minutes.

One of mine is a water hound. Every new area of food is game. The other take a dip once a day. I have to hose my drake he isn't very water friendly
