Howdy!
Earlier this week, I received 3 golden comets and 2 ameraucanas...all two months old. Throughout the day, NOT all day , I've been holding, lightly stroking, and talking to them.

Question: What are signs that pullets this age know you?

Chickens recognize faces just like dogs do. They know you.

My current lot is not afraid of me but then again they were ready to walk into the mouth of my dog too. They do seem to recognise each other and have a pecking order so remember which ones to squabble with and which ones not so I'd say they remember their owner too.

They really do not appreciate a cuddle much imo, if you want them to be your friend give them some mealworms.

oh and ps my old cockerel certainly knew me. Started clucking loudly when I'd come with his food and knew not to attack me while I was looking whereas a visitor he would charge straight away

yes. Most definitely. Giving them a treat is always quite entertaining. They should act like they've just found a pot of gold.
