I agree, there should be a shipping date and a tracking number. And you need to visit or at least call your post office to let them know that this box is expected, and you want a call the moment it arrives, and then run to pick it up.
I can't understand the confusion and being yelled at by the seller, at all.
I have zero experience with this vendor, who's a drop shipper, as I understand, not a hatchery who raises birds themselves.

Please update us when you can so we know if it was an honest mistake

I know I ordered birds from Cackle Hatchery back in May I believe and my ship date isn’t til mid August.

So if you ordered on the 30th of June, I wonder how they could get a ship date to you so fast.

ETA: but I do agree that the customer service lady shouldn’t have yelled.

I didn't realize MPC offered ducklings, so I checked their website. Ducklings ordered through them ship on Mondays only.

June 30 was last Tuesday. So no ducklings are lost in the mail.
