Had a few close calls, but broke a banty egg yesterday that I'd stuck in my pocket for "just a few minutes" while I refilled the feeder.
Live and learn...and don't put eggs in your pockets!

So far I have not done this but I do at times put eggs in my pocket. Most of the time I will put them back int he nest till I am done with what I have to do, just so I don't crack it in my pocket. I have an egg basket but since I only get 1 or 2 eggs a day right now I don't use it.

This is funny! And I can relate. When we had only one laying hen we would wait a few days to save up and make an omelet. If we would go out there and the egg was cracked, we'd be sooo upset because that's one more day we had to go without an omelet.

Sorry u had to loose your egg, but your story was funny..bwaahahahahahaa.. Poor thing..thanks for the giggle and true reminder.. I have been so tempted to stick the eggs in my pocket..
