Do Pekin Ducks Normally Lay At Night?

Early every morning for the past week, when I let the ducks out and there is an egg. I have 7 pekin ducks and this is the first time any have laid. Just out of curiosity, do ducks normally lay at night?

We let our buff and pekin out every morning around 7:30 am and our pekin has already laid. Our buff runs across the yard, like she can bairly hold it, until she gets to her little nest she has made to lay. She runs quacking the whole way. It is pretty commical!!!!
