Thank you so much everyone! I have printed out all the info I can find about noise, nuisance and animals in my area. About dogs barking it basically just says do what you can to keep it from barking persistently and states that neighbours need to understand a dog barks when its excited, scared or as a warning, Which isn't much different from a rooster! About noises it says things about not having loud noises late in the evenings or early in the morning and that burglar alarms should cut off after 15 minutes. It also says there is no one set level for noise that is reasonable, It just depends on the time of day, No mention on decibel levels at all. The best thing I found is "If you can't control your roosters crowing at unreasonable times (prior to 7am) it will need to be removed from your property"
He doesn't crow until 8:30am when I let him out and I could extend that to 9am to be a little more respectful, And I can keep him in the run until 10am if I feel like being extra nice, Then he can't get to the back of my property where the womans property backs onto until then.
It looks like I have enough on my side to fight for him to stay, Or defiantly looks more positive than yesterday at least!
