Well if you aren't sure if a behavior is negative or not, you can keep observing for awhile to make sure. And if a behavior is negative you may also grade that behavior in terms of low risk to moderate or high risk to the other birds, before sending one of them to the barbecue chamber for their crimes.

It's either a rooster with unusually small comb growth or a pullet with rather large growth.
I am leaning pullet.

Here is a better picture of Cinnamon, the Welsummer. She is 8 weeks old. She is definitely an intelligent girl, though flighty. She has figured out to go in the coop at night and roost. The rest are still learning.

Ginger is 7 weeks old. Tinnie, dark brahma is 6.5 weeks old.
The cuckoo maran and australorp are 8 weeks old. They seem to be the sweetest right now.

Okay, I will take some more pics and post today. The BO has been the sweetest so far, however, she becomes very fiesty during dusk.

Also, I have been feeding them berries from my hand since I put them out in their run and coop. They all have been sweet. But there is definitely something going on between Cinnamon, the welsummer and Ginger, the BO....They have been puffing up their feathers, and hopping about in the run.......

I always have to be firm with mine. My hens never did that, only cockerels, but I would peck them back and they soon learned to leave me alone.

I just tapped them on the back of the head, or the back if the head was being irritating. Not hard, just enough to teach them a lesson, since my cockerels kept biting me.
