How do you peck back with hens?I always have to be firm with mine. My hens never did that, only cockerels, but I would peck them back and they soon learned to leave me alone.
I just tapped them on the back of the head, or the back if the head was being irritating. Not hard, just enough to teach them a lesson, since my cockerels kept biting me.How do you peck back with hens?
