Do red sex links have black spots?

I've noticed that my sex links have little black spots in their tails. Is this normal or have i been told the wrong breed?

Yes, red sex links can indeed have black feathers in their tails. Since the rooster used often is a generic red, of RIR and NH heritage, it is quite common.
