Do roosters go broody?

I see it frequently in my Ga Noi influenced birds, and have seen it in Vietnamese writings on the breed. Happens especially when in or near molt. Have even had them sit eggs, sometimes can be annoying with a pair when the cock tries to steal eggs from the hen's nest. At some point the hormone levels change, and they will start culling stags, so I have to watch them.

it does happen, but it is VERY rare... my neighbors frizzle cochin roo hatched and raised his own!
I am sure that my cockrell if I let him would do the same. Every night I have to move him off the eggs he's sitting on and will not even move an inch when I go near the ladies. Normally I would have him attacking straight away
