Do these 6 week old babies look under weight?

I rescued these 2 little cuties earlier this week, some of you may have seen my thread with the whole story.
To me, the dip in their chest doesn't look right. In the picture, you will see my 2 pekins, they are nice and rounded in the front. The new babies are to the left.

Yeah...very deep...as in their need more meat on their bones. Could they have worms? Can you add some food grade DE to their feed?

That doesn't look normal at all. I have never seen that before. I agree, I would quarantine them if at all possible. They may just be malnourished, but I wouldn't risk it.

I think it is a little late for the quarantining, they have been together now for 3 days. When I pick them, they just feel lighter than my 2 do. They have been feeding them pellets since they were little. They said they always had difficulties getting the pellets down because they were so big

I explained to them that they should have gotten crumbles. I am guessing they just didn't get what they needed in the past few weeks.

They bought them from the local feed store, they order from Privett Hatchery. I buy my chicks and have bought ducks from there before, all have been healthy. Can they get something after they are sold if they are exposed to any other waterfowl?

It's most likely they just didn't get enough food then. I have a Privett duck and he is as healthy as a horse (and apparently trying to get as big as one too

You know that looks like a hugh full crop. Im not sure but it kinda looks like that to me. I fed my baby ducks cooled scrambled eggs each morning. 4 eggs for 6 ducks. They are now 6 weeks old and i still take them scrambled eggs each morning, They look like a shiny penny. I also feed them chick starter each evening and they have access to cracked corn 24/7 if interested. They are on a big pond now and seem very happy.

Eggs are high in protein and will fatten your ducks up.

Cook up some eggs for them.

They probably won't eat it (mine don't... spoiled) but it's one of the healthiest things to give them.
