Do these ducks look good?

It’s hard to relate prices from my area as no one would pay $30 for a Muscovy let alone $75. Most males here are given away for free because they cause so much trouble with the rest of the flock. Ducks by nature are happiest when they are muddy so it’s hard to tell if they just got waddling through the mud or not. I’d say if there are some you are interested in, go for it and quarantine is an excellent idea.

I got Mammoth for $75 because he was a mammoth but he isn’t. And I got Snowbell for $25 or something. I usually get drakes for $50.

I tend to sell my drakes for $30-$40. Muscovy ducks for $20. Crossbred ducks are usually $15. And I haven’t sold any mallards yet, but when I do it will be anywhere between $20-$25.

I see you are in Australia. I have no idea what the price of ducks are there or here in the USA.

I would go get a few. They don't look too bad. Proper feed and time will get them looking great again. Best wishes.

That’s pretty cool! What is the main purpose for ducks in Australia? Meat, eggs, pets?

I know that most of the muscovies sold are most likely for meat. But I’m not exactly sure, as I have my ducks for showing, and pets too.

Also, there’s this ad up from another person for some runners as well. In the description it doesn’t say age at all. They are $20 each.

Once again I have my eyes primarily on the black Indian runners, but there are definitely some other nice birds within the flock. Also, most of them look to be drakes.
