Do they make a cheap NON electric movable poultry fencing?

I "gave" my father a "project" a few months ago, to construct a "chicken tractor" for my 3 chooks. It was fun to put together, actually, sort of like Tinkertoys for adults: PVC pipes, plumber's glue, chicken wire, wheels + axle from some deceased lawn equipment, and tah-dah! The Girls get some time outside of their coop/run to scratch in the grass. Oh, and they keep my mare company when SHE is allowed onto the lawn (it is quite true, "The Grass Is ALWAYS Greener on the Other Side of the Fence"!)

That said, your kids will learn very fast not to touch the fence as will the dogs.

My dog will eventually figure out that the fence isn't plugged in and get out but I just turn it off when any one goes out there. The coop is also behind the electric fence but I have plenty of room for the chckens to run so I turn it off when I open the run for them to free range and the dog stays in the fence and the chickens can run outside. I grew up with electric fences on the farm and most livestock will eventually determine that it is not on but it can be turned off for a while before they figure it out.

I just ordered non-electric movable chicken fencing from Premier. I have only four chickens and a small mobile coop, but I have a 9 x 9 a frame run attached. Not very movable. I wanted something just to let them out to graze when I am around, but move them back into the protected predator proof run when I am gone. The electric was very expensive, and in my case not necessary. Here is the link:

At $55 for 50 feet plus shipping, you'd be better off going to Tractor Supply and getting 100' of the galvanized fencing - $60 on sale or $70 full price.

I hate necro-posting, but this is right on my topic.

Do they make inexpensive nonelectric fence with step-in posts? I'd like a few hundred feet of it. The closest I've found is this https://www.premier1supplies.com/poultry/fencing.php?fence_id=147 . It's low conductivity and only $135 for 165 feet, but it's yellow. I'd prefer a color that blends, but would accept white.

Has anyone seen anything? I'm trying to make a portable pasture for a dozen hens.

Comes in white when 48 inch tall netting. This link is for the kit which includes four heavy corner posts. I have this kit in 164' with a hotgate. It will hold a lot of birds. We put it around bushes and trees which slows you down setting up a net this size but can still get it and charging within 1.5 hours.

I want the largest size and I just can't find out how much it weighs. I have a tractor and I move it once a week and construct a paddock around it. Right now the paddock is 23'x13' of 72" welded wire mesh and it takes about an hour and a half to move them and re-do the paddock. This Omet stuff looks like the ticket, but I'll be doing this by myself and can't move anything that bulky if it weighs more than 50lbs...

I too am interested in feedback/ reviews of movable non electric fencing to keep chickens contained. Has anyone on this site had any experience with the omlet product? Any other recommendations people have?

I have a coop and attached enclosed run set up but do want to let my girls (all 12 of them) out in the back yard (under my supervision) to forage once in a while. Am mindful of the predators around my house (hawks overhead and fox in the woods) so am planning to supervise the girls when they are out and about.
