Do they play well together

Getting first round of chickens this weekend....Rhode Island, Ameraucana and Blue Marans (3 of each). All are 10 weeks old, will they play well together or do I need to look at different breeds. Thanks

Just put them together and see how it goes, they settle in pretty quickly really. You don't need to separate your different breeds unless they were breeding age and you specifically wanted pure breds

agree, I have always had a mixed flock, I think they are prettier, and it is easier to tell them apart. MrsK

Most people I know that have chicken have mixes flocks. I started out with RIRs. I now have RIRs, RIWs and Isa Browns and soon Delaware mix and Ringneck Pheasants.
