Do TSC/Hoover hatchery buff orpingtons go broody.

Hi does anyone know if hoover hatchery/ TSC buff orpingtons go broody. I recently got some buff orpington pullets from TSC wondering if they go as broody as often?

Possible but not likely. Hatchery birds are bred for production, not brooding

I have BO from Meyers that goes broody a lot.

My Lavender Orps from Hoover’s go broody (and ruined several egg orders for me already). They are gorgeous birds. Hoover’s has impressed me this past year.

i got 2 buff orps from TSC, 1 goes broody a lot, the other never.

It's hit or miss with any hen

I have buff orpingtons from TSC and they are definitely NOT broody. They lay their eggs in nests but don't set.

I have a few Hoover’s (purchased at Southern States) BOs and have had several go broody. I have one sitting on a dozen eggs right now.
