Do U think bear?

I'd say bear we saw the same tracks here in western N.C. the other day. we have bk bears they come around but so far have not tried to get into chicken/ducks houses. They are on the move right now getting ready for winter. I think they'd be happier with apple peals than a chicken, unless starving.

I have to say bear too. We have them around quite a bit, and they are looking for easy food this time of year. Why would you waste all that energy on taking down a fence, and ripping up a coop when there is tasty trash around? Still, I have two, very hot wires around our coop and chicken yard. Motion lights don't matter. We had one enjoy someones trash in our drive way in the spring. When the light went on he looked up like, "thanks, now I can see where the good stuff is."

yep bear

my parents get them all the time, even in their kitchen. my mom was not happy with bear poo on the kitchen floor. right now they have about a dozen muddy brear prints on the deck and on the front door of the house .

No claw prints, I'm thinking big cat.

Claws don't always show, even under "perfect" tracking conditions.

I KNOW these are bear tracks, yet there are no claw marks in some of them

Note that the rear pad is about as wide as the toes, whereas a canine or feline track would have a narrower pad
