Do you always have water available outside coop?

I started putting extra water outside the coop when it got so hot. But I'm curious if you leave water out for them all the time.

My pullets are in an enclosed run about 50 ft X 100 ft.

If you consider birds can temporarily go without food but not water. It's been hot here so for the larger birds I leave a galvanized tub full of water for them just in case. The sit on the edge and drink with no problems. I keep my chicks secured away so they don't take a tumble into it.

Same here, water indoors and out.
My hens love to walk through the outdoor livestock bowl in the heat, too.

No they only have water in their coop and they know where it is. They can go in any time they want and it is always full. If it was getting empty then I'd consider another waterer.

I keep water everywhere when it is this hot, and I change it every day so that they can have cool water at some point during the day at least once. I have a large pan in the coop, and several smaller pans outside the coop, and a couple more in other areas that they wander to during their forage time.
