Do You Believe in ALIENS?

In Nursing School we were taught there were 4 forms of matter. Solids, liquids, gases and the stuff they put in Twinkees.
It is off topic for this thread, but I want to respond to the "alien" nature of Twinkies. ;) I posted this in another thread here once:

In college, I was in the life sciences. In our grad lab, there was a cork notice board, and fixed to it with a long pin was a Twinkie that was reputedly twenty years old. Other than being the color of mahogany and about as hard, it was still a whole Twinkie. It had not changed shape or rotted or showed any signs of mold. We called it the Petrified Twinkie.

Why do people allow themselves to be brainwashed by scientists and eccentric billionaires.
I have yet to hear of a scientist claiming to have seen an alien. Quite the opposite. Scientists are the reason UFOs are now more correctly called UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon). Calling it a UFO is implying that it is a flying craft of some sorts. As someone who has seen ball lightning, I can say there is a heck of a lot of weird aerial stuff that is perfectly natural, if uncommon.

Science should be all about NOT brainwashing people, but all humans are fallible and so science as practiced by humans is not perfect. I still believe it is the best way to understand our universe.

It's all very very weird as far as I'm concerned. Scientists don't know everything. Quite why they're trying to figure out how the universe was created and what so called life forms are living there is beyond me. I know how the universe was created and I'm not a scientist, I just happen to have read the most read book in the world which explains it well.

Why wouldn’t we explore and try to expand our knowledge and our world? Why stay stuck on this ball of rock? There is soooo much out there we don’t know. Heck, there’s so much HERE, on this planet, that we still don’t know. Most of the Earth and especially the ocean is still unexplored to this day. Should people stop exploring and studying Earth too? Because we know it all? Should people hundreds of years ago not have sailed the oceans and discovered all the “new” lands we’re now living on today? We’ve always been about exploration and discovery and new horizons and I fail to see how space is any different. Because some 2,000 year old book says so? I believe in God but I ALSO believe it is incredibly naive and arrogant to put Him in a box. To say that there are things He cannot do. Especially since many sing about how He can do anything. Also the Bible does not mention everything. And also there were scientists and astronomers back then too and I am sure they are also mentioned in it. If God didn’t want us to explore, why would He have made so many stars? Given us the tools to advance ourselves And our knowledge?
