Do You Believe in Ghosts?

I'll have to check that book out. I didn't even know there was such a published theory that was within the same lines as my belief. I'm a housewife, chicken wrangler, and homeschool mom, not a physicist

VERY interesting. I usually don't read scientific materials because they bore me. My personal bible study is what first got me to studying Einsteins theories and their applications to Christianity and God. I just have too much time to think I guess..lol!

It's not ghosts, actually. It is, in fact, aliens. The so-called "Gray" aliens are telepathic and telekinetic. Notice how almost all "ghost" experiences happen in times of strong emotion, typically after the death of a loved one. As these aliens are telepathic, they can "read" extremely strong emotions from quite a distance and induce mild hallucinations. They use these hallucinations to distract their victims while they do their thing, typically either retrieving something from the person for research or inserting tranquilizer fluid for the abduction. Most people do not remember the abduction experience due to the tranquilizer, but they do remember the "ghost." Other experiences related to so-called "ghosts" are generally due to the presence of alien technology. For instance, electric anamolies are due to a nearby ship deploying the tractor beam or teleporter, or due to the presence of other advanced technology. Paralysis is due to aliens utilizing their somewhat disturbing ability to temporarily stun human victims through telepathic signals. Somewhat humorously, tin-foil is actually highly effective at blocking these signals, but they can also be blocked by playing music at 100 decibels or louder, as this greatly interferes with the Grays' ability to concentrate and for your brain to recieve the signals. Aliens can use holograms to disguise themselves as a ghost as well. They have highly advanced active camoflauge and teleporation tech, which accounts for walking through walls and sudden appearances/disappearences.

Remember, there is a rational explanation for all things.

I believe in them...

I think there is a difference in Ghosts and Spirits. I think ghosts are the ones "left behind" or "stuck" and spirits are the ones that visit us but have "crossed over"

I have seen and heard ghosts.
If I "listen" well enough I can pick up on signs and hints there are spirits around me giving me answers to questions I have asked, whether it be out loud or something I have kept to myself.

Sleep parallelism is a explanation for some of the occurrences that people have. It is an interesting phenomenon. You are awake and can not move but your mind is still dreaming.

I thought I was just imagining it.

Last night there was a big thunderstorm and I thought I heard voices coming from outside my room...or maybe it sounded like music? Anyways, I thought I was dreaming...Then I fell asleep, but then I woke back up but I felt this strange sensation...I couldn't move and it felt like an electric current was going through me, event though I've never really experienced that before.

My mind was half dreaming and half sleeping, and when I came out of it I felt normal again but I could remember what happened even though I was only not able to move for a few seconds. It felt kinda like when you're having a bad dream and you try to wake up out of it but can't and when you do you can remember it all. ?????

OK now I'm really scared you guys......

I'm not sure if he/she is serious or not...it seems like it's not real and I figured it was a joke.
