Do You Cook 4 Your Chickens??

i don't cook specifically for them, but anything i cook for the featherless family members that is left over that we won't eat, they get. or if it turns out bad, they get it. so far rotelli pasta is a huge hit. as is broccoli.

i had also bought beet pulp for an alpaca of mine who just won't put on any weight, and he hates it, so rather than let it go to waste, i threw it to the chickens. that was also a big hit. go figure.

In the mornings because it is so chilly I make a pan of warm food for my babies. I add water to their chick starter and warm it up then put pepper in it. My Grandma use to pepper her chicks food I guess it kind of stuck from when I was growing up and she taught me to do it to. They go nuts for it.....

I know, I know, they can not taste the pepper but for some reason they do not eat it that well if I do not put the pepper in it. I have tried feeding it both ways.
