For many years I was a red head by choice. The last decade I have gone natural. I am a brunette. I, too, donate my hiar periodically to Locks of Love.

I don't dye my hair. The few white ones generally get lost in the long brown ones. I get accused of coloring my hair though as everyone thinks I should have more white. My younger brother (by 2 years) has it instead!

Special Effects "Pimpin Purple" is my favorite. It fades to a nice bright pink after a month or so. I've been other colors through the years, but this one is my favorite. I have to bleach the daylights out of it. Now I only have to bleach the roots, unless I decide to change colors (which I do once a year or so). My natural color is very dark brown. Around 8 years ago I started with dying my hair a red-head red, which ended up being a gateway color for me.

Yup , sure do. If i dont the front on one side is all gray , more silver lookin then gray really . My natural hair color is dark brown , almost black .
I dye my hair Dark Mahogany ATM with ash blonde very thin highlights . I use colorsilk brand dye.
In the past i have dyed my hair blonde, red ,shades of brown and with all dif dye brands though.

Ive been dyeing my hair red since I was a freshman in high school. I always hated my natural hair color, a medium brown that was soooo dull and boring. I buy my hair color from Sally's Beauty and mix a bright red with a purple color actually. It comes out a very red wine color. I have a very pale skin tone, green eyes and freckles!! The color actually goes perfectly and looks gorgeous! Of course because I choose red I have to dye it every month, but I do get a variety of colors out of one box!! haha. It starts off the very dark purple-ish, to red wine, to a brighter red, to a duller, more auburne red. Suprisingly enough, every color looks nice, until my roots start to show so I have brown patches all over my head. I dont mind dyeing it every month because my hair grows so fast anyway.

Im sure my mother is getting sick of dyeing my hair all the time but red is my signature color!!

Yes, but I put it off until well into my 40's. I didn't even realize that my hair color had changed so much -- It used to be chestnut brown, but had become this dull sort of charcoal brown with grey. I actually use a stain product as opposed to dye because it does not have ammonia in it. My color is called Tweed.

yup. Dark Brown Black. I finally have it matching my eye brows after many years of it not.

When I lived in NC my hair bleached out so it was a light light brown. One day my friend suggested red. So I went red for a few years. A nice auburn. Then when I moved up here I just stopped coloring it. And it just faded and lost all the zing.
Then I decided that I wasnt going to grow old gracefully(moisturize moisturize moisturize!! Hands, arms shoulders, face and neck) and was going to fight it every step of the way. Well... within my means anyway.

So L'Oreal Dark Brown Black it is.
