Do you dye your hair?...

I dyed my red hair blonde. I was tired of being called red!! It gets very annoying!

When I was born, my hair was BLACK. My mom tells me I looked like an oriental baby. Then when I was about a year old, I lost my black hair and had ''peach fuzz''. Then it was blonde. It was light blonde then around the time I was 8 or so it started to get a little darker. Then I started highlighting. Eventually I was sick of that and stopped doing that for about 3-4 years, and I had light brown hair. Now about 2 weeks ago I highlighted it again.

I want either to dye it blonde, platinum blonde or dark brown but my mom won't let me.

She has dyed her hair her whole like and doesn't want me to get into that mess.

My hair is a basic dark brown with alot of gray, especially around my face and along my part. I pay someone a great deal of money to make it medium brown with highlights and low lights. I used to do henna myself, but it no longer covers the amount of gray I have. I've decided that when I hit 50, which is sooner than I like to think, I'll go natural again. If the gray gets to 60% or more I'll go sooner. Right now I have a mix of half and half. I hoping I gray like my Welsh grandmother, to a lovely snowy white rather than like my mom, who at 76 is still salt and pepper.

I've been every shade of red.

I started when I was 38 - I liked that burgundy red thang - and when I got to 50 I said the heck with it. In between I used henna with some good results...and I'm so cheap I liked that I could use the amount I needed and save the rest for next time. The whole thing is just a hassle, though. Always with the roots and things - blah. Who cares?

I like what somebody said about menopausal red. Ain't that about the truth! In fact, I did start with peri-menopausal symptoms at....38....​

Do the ash colors really add green tones to your hair.

My hair was naturally medium brown and i use the one for grey hair in light ash brown.
It never turns out right this go round it turned out to dark and has red tones to it.
Can anyone help me i would love to know what color to use to get a medium brown color with no red
