No matter what you do it's all for nothing?

I had bought dehydrated lime for my coop and run as it had an oder and flys. I tried to get the DE but my feed store doesn't carry it so they told me to get the lime. I just spent 2 hours raking out the coop and run and putting freah hay in nesting boxes and then limed 1 coop and run down good. I came in the house for a quick break when all of a sudden a heavy downpour came. Now all the lime I just put down is gone

My question now is will I have to start all over? Please say all is still good and the rain didn't ruin my efforts

Actually be glad it rained. You did not want it up on top where the chickens could get to it. So turn that frown upside down. No you do not need to add anymore.

Um I think its ok if it gets wet... we use it in outhouse holes, obviously a wet place, and it cuts odors effectively... all you have to do is lightly sprinkle it if it did get washed away...
