Do you face sickness asleep or awake?

Well, that all depends.

If it's a weekend and I've got kiddos home (or if any day but the kids/DH are ill) then I HAVE to be awake... not easy.

If it's a weekday and kids are in school/hubby at work then I can nap once I get them off, until shortly before I have to pick them up... then it switches to the above.

*shrug* Everyone knows Mommies aren't allowed to be sick.

Oh wait that's something else.

I man-up and tough it out doing twice my normal workload.

Well now there are those of us that have fur babies and can't sleep non-stop when the "kiddies" are awake and needing care. The cats are easy. I just throw some cat food at em a couple times of day and they're good. BONUS! I can't smell the litter box.

That sounds like depression.

Naw, last time I was sick it was a holiday weekend. I slept for almost 4 days straight, just waking up to get on the computer a bit every now and then. Man I had it bad, and I didn't even feel all that bad just sluggish.
1 day on Keflix and I was almost instantly better!

Nope, it's called being sicker than a dog.
ETA: I must be feeling better. I've cleaned up the house, done a couple loads of laundry and have DH's supper in the oven. Once he gets home, we'll both be ready for nyquil and more sleep.

Yep, there's always that bottle of jack daniels my dad gave us three years ago. Only been opened once - for a toothache two years ago.

Sadly I can't sleep when I'm sick, there is always a child somewhere that needs something!

I do have hot bath's depending on what kinda sick is going on, but generally a nice long soak in a hot tub makes me feel a little more human.
