Do you feed PUMPKINS to your chickens?

I have been and they go nuts over the stringy flesh inside ! And they devour all the seeds like they are eating Maine Lobster.

Man o Man I can't wait until they start laying eggs. I bet they are going to be SOME GOOD ! My chickens get fresh pumpkin, free ranged grass, fresh cut winter rye, fresh peas etc etc.!!!

Spoiled !

I didn't think you were supposed to give tomatoes to chickens. I know that you aren't supposed to feed them citrus and I assumed because of the high acid content of tomatoes, that they weren't good for them either. If it is okay, I wished I had known earlier cause I had alot of tomatoes that we grew and had bunches left over.

Be careful putting the grownup chicken with the chick. You might want to introduce them slowly. I added a chicken (full grown) to my flock to replace a roo and it took about 3 weeks for the original hens to stop picking on the new girl.
