Do you feed Purina ONE Lamb and Rice?

I switched my dogs from Authority Chicken to Authority Lamb and they have both been vomiting anywhere from mid day to 5 oclock. I am searching for another food. Its crazy that the lamb did that to my dogs as they have stomachs of steel and have ate much worse food than Authority

I used to feed my dogs ProPlan and they have done well. Now been dogless for over 10 years.

As for my cat, always on ProPlan however, something didnt set right for my present cat. She would vomit and increased litter box uses, with any Purina brand or anything with grain in it. So I switched to Blue Buffalo and she did great on it. Beautiful coat and NO vomiting and firm poop. Yes it would cost more but in the long run, better for your cat.

Thunder, dear sweetheart that he was, could not eat ANY brand other than Ranch Hound from Atwoods. We tried everything, other than the Authority that was going to be his last attempt to get him to gain weight. He never got a chance to eat it, so I couldn't tell you how it worked. He seemed to like the taste of the canned food.

My Shih Tzu and Poodle LOVE the Ole Roy Puppy Complete. Fairly cheap and doesn't make them puke (unless you feed the Shih Tzu at night outside of her crate. Then she'll puke. I think it's because she feels like she has to "race" the poodle to finish hers first so he won't eat it.)

They don't like any other type of Ole Roy, only the Puppy Complete, even though they are beyond the puppy years.

I was feeding my dogs Costcos lamb and rice until my shep. mix had to have a septic kidney removed. It was right about the time of the dog food recall and that food was one of those recalled. Now she is on "Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul". I believe Diamond also makes it. It works for her. Now I feed it to all my dogs, including the rescues. I just wish I could find something comparable that is cheaper...it gets expensive with these big dogs!!

They're eating it, so I'll feed it.

I feed my dogs what they will eat and what they enjoy, better than feeding them the BARF diet and not being able to keep the food down. I prefer to have something that has been approved by the industry than attempt to screw with their nutritional needs when I know that I do not know enough about their internal needs to properly provide every aspect of their diet without possibly missing out on a nutrient which could kill them.
