Do you guys wash your chickens?

yes i would like to know about the lice factor too. I plan on washing mine when I get them (ugh!! which is gunna take forever) but would a lice/flea/tick shampoo for pets be good for them?

You can use any dog flea and tick shampoo for mites and such. It works great, kills everything dead. Re-check chicken in about 10 days and if you see anything, dust with sevin garden dust or DE or whatever you wish to use to kill mites and lice. The dog flea and tick shampoo kills the eggs also.
