x2. Golden Comets are Red Sex Links produced by crossing Production Red roosters with R.I. White hens (unless it is the Hubbard Golden Comet, which is Prod. Red x White Rock) and the chicks can be sexed by color at hatching (males are whitish, females are reddish). Cherry Eggers on the other hand are RIR x New Hampshire (both red gene birds) and cannot be sexed at color by hatching. If your bird has white feathers in it, it's a Red Sex Link and not a Cherry Egger.
