Do you have to trim the beak?

He Ian 3 yrs old or older and lives alone. He has no problem eating. I tried a cuddle bone on the cage and he has no interest. Doesn’t nature take care of it?

He has a bedding mixed with shavings and then a big piece of driftwood he loves to sit on. I put grit and seeds in the driftwood sometimes for variety in feeding.

I place treats on a brick or stepping stone so when they peck it should naturally help to wear down the beak.

But yes if a beak is too overgrown trimming or filing IS an option.

Looks lonely.. quail or what?? Sorry, I have a hard time seeing sometimes. It's good that you try to offer enrichment by switching things up.
