Do you keep track of how many eggs you get?

Yup! I keep track of all the eggs the girls lay to. I also keep track of how many are brown and how many are white.... and I just got 3 ameraucanas so I'm looking forward to green/blue eggs!!!!

I started noting how many a couple of days ago. Curious to see what a weekly average is. Four of my 5 are laying...dang BA refuses.

I keep a notebook in the kitchen with the scale, and every day i weigh each egg and record its weight. I also record anything notable that happens with my chickens, how many eggs or chicks sold for how much money, an inventory of my chickens, when they were hatched, and all sorts of things.
