Do you like or dislike shopping for clothes?

I really hate shopping for clothes. I do it as quickly as humanly possible.

I feel a little out of the loop sometimes, as a twenty-two year old female who dislikes clothes shopping. I've always been that way, though! Clothes are boring to me.

Now shopping for random knick-knacks or computers or other random items... Count me in!

Ewww! I hate clothes shopping. Most of the time, I've got the kids with me. And, of course, they want to say 'hello' to everyone they see under the dividers!

I prefer any personal shopping I do to be as quick and painless as possible. Whether or not I have children with me. Hate it either way.

The very idea of trying to buy "going out" jeans or pants just puts me in a grouchy mood, even before I set foot in the store!

Fortunately I can wear $10 WalMart pants to work and at home, and they only hafta sorta fit

However, shopping for tools, odds and ends, or animal supplies --- I could do that all day!!!!

I love shopping for clothes, and if it's for somebody else, all the better (most of my friends have no idea what looks good on them, or why/why not. I, on the other hand, having worked in theatre for over half my life, have learned a TON of costume theory, and put it to good use in the real world!).

I hate trying on clothes, though . . . I'll buy something I think will look good and take it home and try it on. For some reason trying on in the store never works quite right, the lighting is wrong, I'm standing wierd, it's totally the wrong context . . . on and on.

I dress almost exclusively in Lee jeans 'cause they're the jeans that fit my wierd figure. As I lose weight, my figure oddities become more pronounced, right now, I'm dealing with the fact that I'm an 18 petite and yet have a smaller rise than even the petite people figure on. But the rise on the Lee jeans is practically perfect. I have to find them at Fleet Farm, of all places, LOL!

I love shopping for cloths at resale shops.I hate shopping for new cloths at regular stores.Maybe it is the price shock of the new cloths.Plus I hate it when what I get is not good for the kids.I really dislike shoe shopping. The kids hate going with me most times,so I end up buying a few shoes, and returning what does not fit them. They even give me a hard time trying things on at home.

It has been years since dh and I shopped together.I see men often following their spouses around and they look bored to tears. They need a techno gadget like my dh has to pass the time!

Well, DD is going to enjoy reading all of your posts.

Very interesting! I don't totally hate shopping for clothes but the styles of shirts these days are just silly. I don't need a huge picture of someone "famous" on my flippin shirts!

(Half the time I have no idea who they are!) I still don't know exactly what Hannah Montana does and frankly, I don't give a hoot. I see them shirts are on the clearance racks now anyway!

I like K-mart personally. I always seem to find jeans that actually fit!!

And when K-mart has a sale sometimes you get to the register and it comes up even cheaper. I love when that happens. I've found out what brands fit me and just stick with them. It makes it so much easier.

Thats sad cause my teen daughter would rather spend her extra money at second hand stores on cloths. She doesnt see spending more money on a few things when she can get a boat load of very very nice cloths second hand....
