do you measure temp from the top of the eggs in a still air bator???

need to know asap!!!!!!!!! do you measure the temp from the top of the eggs in a still air bator?

I do i place my thermonter so i can see in in the glass and it is kinda centered (not drictly under the heating element.)

Hi! Yes, measure air temp at top of the egg = 'egg height'.

I just have my thermometer laid on the wire floor and measure from there...
