Do you remove feed from run at night?

mine get fed in the coop as well i keep their water in the coop also so they have to go in to eat and drink. we give them treats in the run. they love raspberries, cherries, lettuce and cheerios.

We call them tree roaches, they are long tan ugly thing , i only see them at night if i left the food out now that i bring it in early i never see them , we live by woods so that where they come from. i would think the chickens would eat them if but they are night bugs.

We just started using an auto feeder in the run. I don't take it out at night. They have to peck the lever to get food to come out and mice or anything else can't get in it. I suppose something could hit the lever and get food but it's too high for mice or rats. Here's the thread where I first learned about it.

They also have a small chick feeder in the coop but we're working on a pvc feeder for in there.
