Do you say 'soda' or 'pop'?

I remember saying pop at some point in my youth (not sure where I lived at the time but it was either Alaska, Wisconsin, or Virginia), but I always say soda now.

hehe now i cant wait to come to america..... never heard either 'soda' or 'pop'

So far, I've lived places where "pop" is the word (MI, PA, MD), "soda" is the word (FL, NC, UT), "Coke" is the word (GA), "Dr. Pepper" is the word (NC), and "soda pop" is the word (ON, Canada)

I like "fizzy drink" myself

We call it soft drink in this house too unless we are talking about a specific flavor or brand.
