do you scrape your droppings board in winter?

Instead of vinyl I use this smooth white bathroom? paneling. It is slicker and smoother than vinyl. I think it is hardboard coated with a substance similar to a dry erase marker board. It literally takes me seconds to scrape it with a plastic putty knife (so as not to damage the surface) Now I do not have freezing problems often, but I can't imagine it sticking to this paneling. Here is a pic:

My board never looks this spotless!

I have a vinyl scrap leftover - I might try attaching that with a clip over my existing vinyl. Thanks for the visual.

Barbjess, what I use and what is in the pics is not vinyl. I did the best I could to describe it, And yes I took these pics right after scraping it. I can literally scrap this board in under a minute. The poop just slides right off and into my bucket (actually I use a large dust pan)

The smooth paneling is a good idea. I'm currently using sweet PDZ and sifting daily. My problem is my hens often have liquid poops that get into the nooks and crannies of the poop board framing and walls. It's hard to remove when it's soft or hardened.

Do the chickens slip and slide on the smooth surface?

I imagine they might. I only have it as poop board right under the roost. They have no problem getting up on the roost
